Hi All!

How to enable, disable or change learn time/period on LSI CVPM02 CacheVault on 9271, 9361 Raid controllers using Storcli in vmware esxi or using LSA?
or should I can use something else?

Since the learn time is saved in the non-volatile memory on the controller, you can use the BIOS/UEFI config to set it once and never worry about it again. If you can reboot the system, this is the easiest way.

For storcli, see the manual. Search for "bbu" in the PDF file.

Despite having multiple of these cards with the same config, I completely brain-farted.

Of course it doesn't work, because there is no battery with CacheVault, thus no need to "learn" the charge/drain characteristics. CacheVault uses a capacitor pack instead.

The capacitor can die of old age (like all capacitors do), but it doesn't lose any capacity because of charge/discharge cycles. If it does die, just replace it with a new one (cheap on eBay).
