I'm having issues with my 826 TQ backplane - I've loaded the entire chassis up with drives, but I'm only able to see the first 8 drives in my system (running unraid). Through process of elimination (swapping cables/hba cards), I've narrowed the issue down to the backplane. It appears there's two separate controllers on the TQ backplane (9071 and 9072). I've reset what I think is the culprit chip (the lights on the last 4 drives turned red when booting with the jumper), but still no luck.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue? Also, is the sideband connection absolutely necessary for the backplane to work? (I have it plugged in for the other 8 but unplugged it while diagnosing). Thanks!
