The subject of "inexpensive 10G RJ45 switch" comes up somewhat frequently here. Prices are coming down on these, for older-generation switches.

Saw a 48-port, 7050T, seemingly in good condition for $450 plus $40 shipping, which is a very good deal (usually closer to $1000).

Also saw today a 7148T (multiples available) for < $400 here: DCS-7048T-A Arista 7048 48xGigE BASE-T/4x1/10GBE SFP+ Switch (shipping $ unknown)

Both have 4x 10G SFP+ uplinks. I have no experience with, or connection to, either seller.

Update: I see several eBay sellers have 7050T units below $500. Maybe this is a new normal.

The 7050T-64 has 48x 10gig copper and 4x 40gig qsfp+, the 7050T-52 has the 48x 10gig copper and 4x 10gig sfp+.

I don't understand why the 7048T is so expensive. It's a gig switch with 4x 10gig, nothing too special.

Also, when it comes to sellers on ebay selling Arista gear, make sure they're including the power supplies and fans with it. There's a trend where some jerks will strip the fan/psu and sell them separately for $200+/ea, and thats 2x psu and 4x fans.

Agreed re the 7050T-64 having 4x QSFP+ but that model is a lot more expensive than $500 (often more than $1K).

Got mine 7148t from ebay two weeks ago for $95 with fans/psu and rails and even db9 cable from a large seller of used arista switches. Maybe I'm just lucky, but my item looks like brand new/unused.
It came up with a slightly outdated EOS, but thanks to this forum I've found the latest one.
A note from the seller was also rev001 don't support "blue" fans, but mine came with the red ones and they work like a jet!

I read your post, about getting a 7148T for $95, with surprise. The 7148T models go for closer to $1000 than $100. I would be happy for you if you bought a 7148T for $95, of course, but I would wonder why I did not see such a bargain because I have eBay alerts set up for such items including Arista 7148Ts for sale. I did not see such an alert.

I see that someone sold 2x 7048T models (i.e., 1GbaseT not 10GbaseT) for less than $100, in February, and that listing seems to have the characteristics you describe; e.g., outdated EOS, console cable, rack ears [not rails]; seller sells many Arista switches). Maybe this was your seller, maybe not.

My point is not to criticize or dispute but just to potentially clarify the market for 10GbaseT switches, which is the point of this thread.
