40G SM LC-LC Transceivers, AOI 40G-LR4 or KAMAI XQX2502 40G-LR4?

I've read through this forum and figured that many highly recommend the KAMAI transceiver
The similar AOI transceiver is a lot cheaper, but has anyone tried it with the Brocade and Arista switches?

Here not working on both. Just works between Mellanox Connect-3X cards and SX6012's for me. Seller confirmed these work. I bought 20 ...

Are you sure? The Wikipedia page states otherwise. From 2011 it used a Shenzhen contract manufacturer for their modules; in 2013 they used a plant in Scotland.

For AOI I remember a spec sheet and inferred no chinese company would manufacture this abroad. So not sure.

KAIAM literally says Made in USA on the label. 1 Watt less and they use Philips screws for teardown instead of one-way latches. So my recommendation to Op is KAIAM unless he needs 500 and every cent counts.
