For anyone reading this old thread, Wiredzone has the D1508 mITX board for ~$350. It comes with 10G Ethernet and 6 SATA ports. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one instead of paying $125 more for the D1518 version.

I am looking to upgrade the 525 Atom board for a basic unRaid file server. I hope to do a single Plex stream at some point in the future, otherwise I would look at other Atom systems.

465 for flex atx with 16 sas ports / 2 x gbe / 2 x 10gbe vs 350 for a matx (not itx) with only 2 x 10gbe.

It depends a lot on what you need. I don't think you can buy 16 sas2/sata3 ports for the difference in price if you want/need the ports. But, if 6 sata ports and 10GBE only is good enough for you then why not save the money?

My main issue with the X10SDV-2C-7TP4F other than the 500 dollar price tag is I will need to buy new drive cables for my CSE-836. Other than that it is the perfect match.

Yea I know the feeling. I really want to use one of these with a LSI 9305-24i for one of the 36-bay chassis. But rewiring those things is rough.
