Just checked, bought mine in Oct 2015 and it's been running 24/7 in my Freenas box. Yes, it does run hot but I believe it was designed that way.

One of them has smart warning. I'm having trouble finding instructions on stress testing using a centos live CD so I can test the other one.
How do you test SSDs for both stress and any media errors.
