i cant say im aware of a single one tbh

The most commonly mentioned is the breakout plug they use on blades/nodes for console, but that it used by a few brands.
My cisco boxes has the same connector for breakout on a front ear, i prefer having it as one connector vs multiple when switching between hosts.

Isn't that because Cisco still just re-boxes HPE/Dell/OEM [quanta] gear and adds some of their own sauce on a standard model?

Afaik cisco has their own production facilities for servers since going over to the UCS series 2010-2012.
Its true that they just had HP with diffrent fronts before that tho, some old stuff looks like they did nothing but change color of plastic.

But the connector is used beyond hp/cisco for dense stuff.
