Thanks. The label says -020 and 16GB. Not sure how that can be...
What is Goofer memory? I can't seem to find any info by search.
Well, if its really 32GB you got at a 16GB price...that's pretty cool?
Maybe you can calc the actual capacity based on the individual chip markings? If memory serves, and assuming the 2Rx8 part is correct (18 memory chips total on the stick)...then 8GB chips will be a 16GB module and 16GB chips will be 32GB. At least I think that's right...that stuff confuses my peabrain sometimes.
(It occurs to me that you could also pop it in a system and see what it says the capacity is. This is the sort of thing I wouldn't think to do though, as my usual routine is to do everything the hard way. Markess...reinventing the wheel on a daily basis since 1961.)
As far as "Goofer"...its Kingston. Their naming defies logic.
