10Gb Direct Link Ubuntu to Windows 7

Hi I am looking to use two Netxen NX3-20G 10Gb NICs. One in my Ubuntu 14.04 server and one in my Windows 7 workstation. I also have a 1Gb NIC that uses 192.168.1.x in each computer.
I am wondering how to best set this up.

I assume I would set each adapter like
--------------------IP--------------------Net Mask---------------Gateway-------------------DNS
Ubuntu----------192.168.2.1----------24-----------------------No idea???-----------Blank???
Windows 7------192.168.2.2---------255.255.255.0--------No idea???-----------Blank???

Any ideas?

You wouldn't have a gateway or any DNS servers on the second interface if it's a PtP link.

You got it right, 255.255.255.0 netmask will work fine! no dns or gateway necessary (leave blank) but really those interfaces are not routed to internet so having them blank or filled will not matter!
