    Yeah it actually turned up fitted together, battery cable connected but also a spare "battery to IP board" cable, It cost me $60 so i don't think it's too bad overall, i may ask to keep this if the replacement is the same then i will have just over the lifespan of a new one, just swap them...

    Thanks for the confirmation, i have contacted the seller with my findings and he has offered to replace it, so i'll wait and see what the replacement is like, hopefully new as he stated. I have a feeling though that he has bought a cheap batch of batteries that have been removed/swapped out...

    Ok, battery turned up today and it is a bbu07 type and had a spare battery cable and 3 screws. I have installed it and it's currently charging up, however this is suppose to be new but looks like it's had use as per below... Has this been heavily used and is second hand?

    Problem is now solved, thanks mobilenvidia! First tried setting drive spinup (was set to 4, now set to 2) - didn't work. Swapped over 8087 connectors, 4 x 1tb now on ports 0-3 and 2 ssd's on 4 and 5, - result, ssd no longer disappears. Thanks!
