If you're planning on running truenas you should either swap the H330 for an HBA330, or at the very least flash the HBA330 firmware to the H330.

Odd, I couldn't get it detected. It might be the firmware on the drive, or just a DOA ssd. Either way, no big deal as I'm returning all the 983s and going with something that just works. Annoying but necessary.

I had a similar issue with a Xeon Scalable quanta chassis. What I did to fix it was temporarily install linux and ipmitool, and reset it that way. (It worked flawlessly)
