Yeah not a reseller and have a few 24 bay systems needing drives. Didn't even get the discount either. Figured as it's direct they will restock it for others as well. Resellers those piss me off also as legit users always get the short stick.

The problem with some of the platinum chips is that they can't run on a lot of boards and will not boot.

Picked up 3 of the sata ones for one of our NVR's hopefully works out well for it. Storage is backed up across 2 other data centers and a local one so not as worried about reliability but typically these are great.
