AMD Epyc Bergamo / Genoa (9734/9534) for ~40% of MSRP (and "free" mboard) @ NewEgg (2023/07/16)

We bought some single CPU ones with 24 dimm slots quite nice but also a pain! Nothing in-between really worked as it should following all the guides and even trying our own way. It was basically 12 dimms or 24 dimms nothing else worked.

    Toshiba 14TB SAS MG07SCA14TE 512e $66 NEW

I was wondering the same, being cut seemed a little sketchy looking.

    I want one

Would want to see the RJ45's at least 10G on that as well. 1G for them is pretty piss poor given the price tag.

    Toshiba 14TB SAS MG07SCA14TE 512e $66 NEW

Yup and then you will have people like some of our clients who will complain about a NVMe drive being 5 years old but having 99% life on it. :) It's quite interesting even for business clearly enterprise drives are more suggested when ordering. However, quite often you will find some killer...

Replacement server option - Gigabyte R282-Z92 a good option?

Quite a bit costly to be honest. Then again we got a steal on our last batch of these for $7-900. This is overkill of you don't need that many drive bays as said. There are a few other options out there but it depends on your usage. Some 2U 4 node systems in the $2200-2400 range with some nvme...

Picked up 4 I think. Stupid long but sometimes it's great to have in the data center for testing or that odd requirement!

    New Micron 7400 PRO 7.68TB NVMe U.3 (7mm) Non-SED Enterprise SSD - $349

For us we got 50 at the end of the day but we needed a pair of 24 bay systems and paid full price not the discounted. It's more frustrating when you know people buy hundreds from eBay sale and resell for a lot more. We are legit using for our business and customers. Our team actually had a...

    New Micron 7400 PRO 7.68TB NVMe U.3 (7mm) Non-SED Enterprise SSD - $349

Yeah not a reseller and have a few 24 bay systems needing drives. Didn't even get the discount either. Figured as it's direct they will restock it for others as well. Resellers those piss me off also as legit users always get the short stick.

159$ US 'new' Quanta D51B-1U LGA2011-3 Server Best Offer

Do you know the exact model of your server is? Some of them support the drives above but others will not have the cables to do it but to keep costs down they still have the features there just missing the cables normally. You might have to have the data center bring the cables up and see if you...

14 TB SAS HDD *NEW* $135

Picked up 3 of the sata ones for one of our NVR's hopefully works out well for it. Storage is backed up across 2 other data centers and a local one so not as worried about reliability but typically these are great.
