Have a number of items I've been starring out for some time, and no time to use 'em.

Why do I have some listings with all proceeds going to a local non-profit, and others not? Because I either bought them, or repaired them at my cost, to originally donate to that local school. Ended up building and donating completely different systems for them. Therefore, these are left over from those endeavours and whatever I get for them will be donated to the school in your name. Others are ebay buys that I'm looking to recoup.

PM only. First come, first served. Feel free to post in the thread once you PM'd.

Motherboards

(1x) Supermicro X10DAi - $200 obo (or more for the donation)
  • LGA2011-3 Dual-Socket, E5 V3/V4
  • Can't find I/O shield...
  • 100% Proceeds goes directly to a local non-profit
(1x) "Bent-Pin" Supermicro X10DAL-i - $100 obo (or more for the donation)
  • LGA2011-3 Dual-Socket, E5 V3/V4
  • I/O shield included, original layout diagram, etc.
  • Standard ATX size (not E-ATX)
  • 100% Proceeds goes directly to a local non-profit
  • Personally, this has been my dream mobo for a decade, as it supports all PCIe slots, but last one, with only CPU1 populated
    • Should still function with full quad channel memory with only a single CPU1 too, though never tried.
  • 1x remaining bent pin preventing 1 DIMM on CPU2 from working
    • Two STH forum members took it to try to fix it (it came to me with bent pins). They fixed all but 1 pin!
    • Supermicro support for RMA ...
      • Supermicro said they won't support it.
      • Supermicro said to send it in via RMA on another call as approved.
      • A 3rd call (for another reason) said out of warranty.
      • Supermicro is known to be wishy-washy on older boards.
      • I recommend submitting for an RMA several times until one gets approved.
        • Try different times, middle of the night, lunch time, dinner time, etc.

Enterprise SSDs

I ran out of time tonight to fill these in. I'll be back to edit this over the weekend. Basically, all Samsung SM883 and PM883s. Everything either has 100%/99% of life left, or was only used for "3-5 days" power on (meaning, 100% life left). No prices yet as I ran out of time, but feel free to make (reasonable) offers before I get back (weekend trip with the family).

All 2.5" SSDs, no M.2.

(6x 2x) PM883 960 GB - $100 ea
SOLD: 4x

(~13x 4x) SM883 240 GB - $50 ea
SOLD: 9x

All are super-capacitor backed. Oh yeah, instant "sync()" for Ceph and ZFS!!

Originally bought as a Ceph cluster, and then maybe my ZFS ZIL cache drives. However, I never installed/touched them. They are all basically still new just as I bought them. I'll likely keep most of the 240 GBs, as they are great boot drives.

Portable 16" IPS Monitor via USB 3.0/2.0

(1x) AOC I1659FWUX 16" (Actual size 15.6") Full HD 1920 x 1080 60Hz USB 3.0 USB-Powered Backlit LED IPS Portable Monitor

Price: $120 (currently $160-ish new on newegg)

Condition: It's brand new, never used. Didn't end up using it for my air-gapped CA setup.

I purposely bought this to be self-powered via USB-3 so that there was no additional cable needed (when on battery with a laptop).

Wanted for Trades
  • Brocade ICX7450-48P
    • If nothing above tickles a fancy, I also have a Brocade ICX6610-48P currently in my rack that I can trade.
  • AMD 3000/5000 series CPUs
  • AsRock X470/B550/X570 high-end motherboards (AsRock Rack, Tachi, etc)

Shipping...

Please create all shipping labels and send them to me. I'll slap it on the box(es) and away it goes.

Shipping will be from the NY 12601 area.

Payments & Terms
  • Google Wallet preferred. PayPal as fallback.
  • No "freight forwards", as there is no PayPal protection for freight forwarding services for either party.

I might throw up a couple of Intel Optane 900P 480 GB HHHL insane-ZFS ZIL drives with 99% life remaining. Still haven't decided how I am using the lot I have, as the ZFS zRAID3 setups are pretty darn fast enough for my backups, and with an existing 900P I have in those machines already. I kind of bought several extras...

I also have a single Intel 905P 960 GB HHHL for my desktop. But my 2x PM1725 pool on my desktop seems to be way overkill for my software development needs. Still trying to decide on that one, as it's awesome.

Wow, I'm getting slammed with PMs! Didn't think things would sell this quick.

Apologies for posting and running, but we're leaving on a family trip. Be back Sunday for mass-replies. However, I'll try to reply with my phone while on the road.

So apologies for any delays in PMs!!

Everyone is taking the big heavy stuff that I may not have enough boxes for. I didn't think this lot would go. Doh. I'll pickup some boxes tomorrow.

And thanks for being patient! Several late nights ahead of me (everyone wants the switches setup... Doh!).

On the outside chance you would be willing to sell just the rack ears for the ICX, I would love to buy a pair!

Totally understand and logical. I bought an ICX 6610 from a friend. Its perfect except it lacks the ears. I can live with it... but I'm a perfectionist. I haven't been able to find them separate on eBay or anywhere else. Figured I would ask. Thank you!

Same... I got a set of ears in the Brocade thread just by asking a year or two ago. May want to post a plea in that thread. :)

Update for all: got four switches ready, boxes for the 2U dual node and mobos. Need to print labels and sort things out. Should be delivering items tonight, or tomorrow.

Kids and their ongoing, and new weekly sicknesses... Argh. I am heading to the store today to ship out the remaining of everyone's packages. Apologies for the delays!

As a reminder in the OP, no freight forwarders.

The 3x SM883 1.92 TB are back up. :(
