UPDATE:
I managed to get into the installer using YUMI to get the .iso on the USB drive. Now more problems. Apparently it doesn't have a driver for my HDD controller. Can anyone either tell me how to or point me to a guide on installing the drivers during the installation? Also the manufacturer...
I finally managed to download ESXi through a great circuitous nightmare. I put the ..iso on a USB drive using Rufus. When I boot from it I immediately get a message saying "Remove this media and press any key to reboot". When I do so nothing happens. Thoughts?
I tried both FF and Chrome. They both had the same problem. I had a friend download it and then upload it to Google Drive and send me a link. That site is trash. This was not the first issue I had with it.
Thanks for pulling my bacon off the fire, again! The other 4 blue slots worked.

Noise...... Not good. Its about as loud as a...
It wasn't loading the registration page. I finally, after two days, got it to load. Now the download button isn't responding. This website is pretty broken.
I created an account with VMWaree but I can't seem to download ESXi. It says that I don't have a registration for the product. I've literally spent over an hour trying to get this to work. Am I having an idiot moment?
Got it.
I ordered the Dell card BeTeP linked to. Is this the most reliable and up to date guide for the firmware flashing? https://www.servethehome.com/ibm-serveraid-m1015-part-4/ There are tons out there but they're all pretty old so I don't know if I can trust the files they contain.
I did specify the router as the gateway. As it turns out the problem was the FQDN field. I reinstalled last night and used the default and now everything works!
Thanks for the thoughts guys.
Thank you sir! I'll give it a shot this evening.
On a different note, this RAID card appears not able to be flashed to IT mode. Any recommendations on a HBA? The IBM M1015 seems to be pretty reasonably priced these days.
