Seemed like a decent deal so thought I'd share here. QTY 0 Left! (SOLD OUT now :()
Seller accepted (post below) $90.
If anyone has a source on ram for this, please share. found some 8gb sticks for ~$40 but seems a bit pricey.

I wonder if the seller just has it titled incorrectly or images are incorrect. They are labeled 1.6TB in the pics. Makes it even a better deal if that's the case!

I had to attach the SSD to a controller in JBOD mode. Couldn't do anything to a controller with a raid mode if trying to tell the raid controller to put that device in JBOD mode it wouldn't work. The steps listed in the previous post were super quick and easy.

Seems like a nice inexpensive way to fill one of those 60 bays if you got in on that deal.
Does anyone know if this card supports JBOD? I tried looking at some of the spec docs and it said it supported a larger number of single drives but it didn't exactly say JBOD. I know sometimes firmware updates change this, so just wondering.
Thanks everyone
I'm sorry I was using the 8gb modules as example, and not a set deal. Most systems I've seen are typically filled with 8gb modules. I was just trying to compare the price of building out the bare bones to the UK complete system.

For those in the US: $570 + shipping, barebones server. One of the sleds is dinged on the metal edge. claims in working order though (I mean it looks terrible but not functionally impactful). Seems fairly close in value (I figure ~$500 for the 8x 2670 CPUs and ~$200 for 256gb ram + $200...
I stumbled upon this checking out other drives, and thought surely someone here could use it. Seller lists as used and tested in windows server 2012 so i'm assuming no reformatting necessary. Specs show 10x DWPD and a max of 110PB written so I'm pretty sure endurance won't be a problem...
I missed the previous deal myself on the 3 pack for $300, so I thought others might be interested. The other colors also seem to have same price of $99 so in case black runs out or you would prefer a colored case.

I hope this is a good enough deal. The seller auto accepted my offer of $300 shipped for (5) 200gb HUSSL4020ASS600, so you might be able to go lower. These are apparently working EMC pulls which I believe are similar to the 400gb deal a few months ago. Even at $60 a piece these seem like a deal...
