I had the exact same from one i got off eBay. Had to have it replaced. These lil bare silicon die's are the fragile-ist things I've ever come across.

Is this for personal? isnt that a little Over powered for a firewall (I cant comment as looking at them for myself, but would be more tempted to run a hypervisor under it to get a few more services on it)

I think ive worked out I cant format these to 512 with a HP controller so will need to throw into another machine

Good afternoon all! Im having a weird issiue with some disks i bought on ebay recently. Picked up some 1.9tb SAS Samsung drives (HP branded). Ive tried this on two Gen10 360s with p408i's and they hang on boot for hours. Once it does boot it shows there is no controller attached, ive never seen...

I just want to go on record as i bought one of these off ebay, had the same damage and had to get it replaced.

Sorry basiclly everything is now gone apart from some v1 cpus, 4gb dimms and the nics.

2x E5-2640v2's - Pulled from a lightly used (60 hours tops) HP server. 4x 16GB ECC RAM - Pulled from same server. Working and tested. All has been sat on my desk waiting for me to build a new workstation/server. However i just cant justify it as i have an half decent spec'd workstation already...
