Up for sale is one of my spare servers.
This is an original single CPU configuration server, so if you want to run dual CPUs you need to get the additional 2 fan modules and second processor heatsink
(Has inner rails but no outer rails)
All firmware has been updated to the latest SPP version...
Is there a go to place to source rev c power supplies for 6610-48P?
I’ve had 2 of these for a while now with dual rev A in them, and it’s time to quiet them down a bit!
Up for sale are some of my spare Cisco UCS bits, these were originally used when I had my large multi chassis setup going but have been sitting around as spares for a while as I’ve downgraded my setup to 3 servers and 1 chassis.
1. Cisco UCS 5108-AC2 chassis with 2 x 2208XPs and the rail kit...
I’d look at the Micron 5100/5300 as well, decent price vs performance, especially if getting second hand.
Cisco uses those models for m.2 boot drives in their M5 generation servers:)
Correct, I was looking at 4110 to start with but ended up being able to get a pair of 4210 for less than the cost of a single 4110… I guess the seller (server refurb place) is keen to get me to come back and buy the other servers/more CPUs??
If worse comes to worse and it all doesn’t work...
Thanks for the replies.
My current sticks are 2Rx4 ones.
Ive bought a C220 M5 and got a good price on 2 x Xeon 4210, so will see how it all goes when it turns up :)
Assuming it works and UCS manager detects it properly I’ll grab 2 more of the same setups.
Bit of an odd request, but has anyone tried running a Gen 1 Intel Scalable Silver Xeon with DDR4 2400 RAM before and had any luck?
I’ve got multiple Cisco 5108 chassis and multiple B200 M4 blades, and have the chance to grab a few C220 M5 rack servers for a fair price.
I’ve got over 1TB of...
Lol, seems easy enough then, I assume it will update both switches in the stack at the same time?
Is there no need to update the boot or Poe firmware with this release?
Thanks!
