Right now mine is in a Lenovo P620. The temps I posted were in my Lenovo TS440 that I use as an UnRAID server. In the P620 I see mid/high 40s and I stuck it in one of the lower slots so it’s getting air flow directed front to back from the intake fan.
Got a Supermicro SYS-5019D-FN8TP NIB from Zach. He shipped faster than anyone I’ve ever worked with, server arrived in great shape. Can’t wait to get it up and running as my new router.
He’s an amazing seller, would recommend without reservation!
I am not sure if you mean we should be leery about the Amazon drives. To me, Amazon offers great protection if for some reason the drives aren’t new and you’ve got a good proof of purchase for an Intel warranty claim.
How do these drives compare to the PM863s?
Here is a listing for sub $50 1.92tb Samsung PM863’s

Can confirm my P620 supports bifurcation.
4090 fits, but only with a cableMod 90 or 180 degree adaptor. You will also need two 6 pin to 8 pin adaptors (FRU 00XL159). The power for the P620 is build into the main board and main board only has 2 pcie 8 pins.
Any chance you could be convinced to actually call and check one of the SNs see if you have warranty support by ~gasp~ talking to a human? I know it’d be a lot of time but would sure help some of us out, plus then you’d know!
Project is good, posted some pics in Zac’s thread about the motherboard and how it fits in the build. I’ll get to put the system through the paces in July, so will post a full write up then.
My plan is UnRAID, so booting off a flash drive. With all NVMe flash in RAIDZ1 I need to ask someone...
Another happy customer! I ordered an E302, X11/W2145 combo, a bunch of RAM, some X10 boards and a Tyan S8026 from Zac and everything came in perfect shape!
I had planned on using a Supermicro H12SSW-NTL for the build but after talking with Zac we wanted to see if one can build in a 2U SM case...
Awesome board! I missed this one as I was doing my research; my plan was an H12SSW-NT before I got a Tyan S8026 from @zac1 but this is a fantastic board for storage with all 24 drives directly connected to the board! Why 4 boot drives? Have you decided on an OS yet? How about plan for what NVMe...
