So Intel has posted the new Intel Xeon W-1300 models on Products formerly Rocket Lake. So I'm guessing that Patrick et al. will post an article about that.
So what about W580 motherboards? So far I just found two Supermicro motherboards
X12SAE-5 | Motherboards | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.
X12SCA-5F | Motherboards | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.
Not surprisingly they stuck with pretty much the same layout as for the models with the W480 chipset. Wish there were options utilizing the PCIe 4.0 2x8+1x4 and 1x8+3x4 that are possible with Xeon W-1300 series (and for the desktop models as well).
I get a feeling that this generation will be a bit anemic in anticipation of the Alder Lake versions, even though I think the roadmap being leaked seems a bit too optimistic since Rocket Lake wasn't released in the beginning of Q1 as they are showing.
So have you found any other W580 motherboards? Hopefully ASRock and Asus will release something.
