A couple of years ago I splurged on a 32" 4k LED/IPS display, it's absolutely worth every penny I paid for it. Good displays are amazing when you spend 12 hours using them daily. Mine only does around 72hz, but that's fine because I spend more time working these days than gaming.I have 2 27" LG's that are 4k/LED panels and they are worth every single penny I paid for them. No heat, great resolution, and outstanding quality. You have the potential to spend lots of hours in front of these screens, are your eyes not worth the extra bit of $$$?
Can anyone tell me what the point of FreeSync is when it's a 60Hz panel?
In most games, pushing more than 60 FPS at 4K is hard without top-tier hardware. FreeSync (or G-Sync) on a 60Hz panel still alleviates screen tearing (and/or FPS dips & stutters with V-sync) below 60 FPS, a range you'll likely be in at 4K.Can anyone tell me what the point of FreeSync is when it's a 60Hz panel?
I really like the display, but if I go 4K, I'm going to try and get something more than 60Hz Since that's what I have and I play FPS games. I heard that having higher clocked panels is supposed to be the bees knees, but I have yet to experience one in real life.
I have been using 24" Dell Sharp since 2005. and dual monitors are the best.To continue the OT: I tried using a 43in 4k panel as a monitor. I found I could only use 1/2 of it at a time for productive work, which lead to me using 2x 24in monitors stacked which I liked a lot more.
