X8SIL i3-550 cpu
No memory installed
The symptoms: psu and cpu spins for 2 seconds stops, beeps then repeats again and again.
I reset the cmos- take the battery out and then touch the solder pads to do reset.
I tried four different psu. The results are the same.
According to Supermicro technical services. It should beep 5 times no memory.
Could someone with the X8SIL attempt to boot with no memory? Thanks
