Hello, I bought this board and CPU mobo for a homelab project. I am unable to make them work because it shows all sorts of weird memory issues while trying to boot up, I am wondering if it's possible to update BIOS on this board through IPMI without having a system that sucessfully boots up.
I don't have a v3 CPU to try at the moment, I have ch341 with SOC8 that I coud use to flash it, but I am not sure about where to find BIOS chip.

there is a ASPEED BMC onboard with WebGUI(IPMI LAN), login and you should be able to update BIOS there.
if you need licence make your own.

check the manual. the Firmware chips are shown with white socket. SOP16 = BMC, SOP8 = BIOS.
