Windows 11 pro and 10 pro can't see each other

I have network sharing and discovery turned on as well as file sharing, but yet neither of my windows 10 or Windows 11 PC can see one another thing they can see is my Naz but that's it. How do I fix this issue so both computers can share files.

Probably smb related as w11 disabled legacy v1.

Windows 10 supports SMB 3.11 no problem, so it shouldn't be a SMB ver 1 issue. Check the firewall settings would be my suggestion.

- Turn off firewall and try again.
- Can you ping each other?
- Can you get to them by IP address? \\x.x.x.x

Can you access them if you use \\computername instead of relying on network discovery (that used to be based on SMBv1)?

Are you running DNS and DHCP locally, with the machines set to register in DNS?
Had identical issue after upgrading to Win11.
It was DNS....
