Love the reviews and guides on this site for repurposing these HP units. I have read many of the posts about drive configs and understand that you can have 2x NVME or 1 SATA SSD + 1 NVME. Looks like one might be able to also mod the SSD drive tray to accommodate 2xNVME + SATA SSD but may run into heat problems. Two questions hoping someone here may have already tried on these units:
1. Is it possible to use the M.2 2230 slot as an SSD instead of WIFI ? Idea being use this slot as an SSD boot drive then 2x NVME storage for data.
2. Has anyone tried 2TB or even 4TB NVME drives in these units ? HP specs indicate it only supports 1TB NVME drives HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Desktop Mini Business PC (35 W/65 W/95 W) Specifications | HP® Customer Support
