Trying to find out what "BOM Select" means, without further detials in the user manual. Is this some Bifurcation mode selection?
Is it possible to change bifurcation configuration on this motherboard?

afaik a compatible (supermicro) card can auto bifurcate to required mode.
bifurcation depends on type of Add on card in your BOM
BOM = bills of materials

Oh, I didn't consider they may have meant "Bill of Materials". Thanks for the clarification.
So, there are no manual controls (physical or BIOS switches) for configuring bifurcation on slot #5 or #6?
I was hoping to drop a cheaper 8x PCIE dual NVME M.2 carrier card in one of these slots. :-(
