Just any case some people don't know, for help with trying to get SSI-EEB motherboards into cases that don't accommodate all the holes. You can help support the board with these.

The hard part is getting the right height and diameter (god forbid you waste $2 buying extra :p)

I dont think you should be ashamed, I had this exact problem. I had even masked unused risers with electrical tape as the case didnt have enough risers and 1/3rd of the board was without support. Turned out that the pins on the motherboard had gone through the electrical masks and it wasnt until i noticed some tiny holes in the masks that I figured it out.
I bought a tap and die set so I could add to a case if needed. I also always remove unused risers. I learned to do this by having your experience.
