Seller does not lower the price beyond $500 , not sure if this is great deal but it looks quite attractive as a NAS server given that backplane is SAS3 and motherboard has SAS3 chip. Unfortunately no rails and trays.

I have the CSE 836 with 16 bays so this could be an upgrade with more drive support. I hope the server is not very loud. At $400 or with rails/trays, it would have been great deal.

the price isn't that attractive... 500$ for case and mainboard, without 36 tray's and rails.
