I have a mainboard with flashless i211 (Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection [8086:1539] (rev 03) ) and x533 (Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection X553 1GbE [8086:15e4] (rev 11)) , but none of them can't use in esxi even I install i211 and x533 drivers (both vmware and thridparty ) on 6.7 or 7.0.
so I want try flash I211 to i210 (8086-1533 ) , could anyone give some advise about the risk of crossflash? if flash failed could I revert it to i211 (have invm txt of the i211 ),or will brick it?
