Return to HORACO / AliExpress via USPS is $$ !

I goofed, ordered the wrong version of a HORACO switch. Contacted them, they said 'await delivery, then return for refund' ... turns out (I didn't understand) the *shipping* there is free, but any *return* is at your expense (HORACO doesn't offer AliExpress Free Return); and that little fanless switch would be almost USD $45 to send to China via US Postal Service! Is there a cheaper way to return? IFf not, then it's back to Amazon for me ...
