I currently have a JGS516PE - 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE Smart Managed Plus Switch. I have ran out of available ports as I will be adding 5 poe cameras. I also have a Ubiquiti Unifi AC AP Pro that needs 48V so POE+.
I was thinking to ditch the JGS516PE and get 24 port switch that is 48V compatible which I believe is POE+. Problem I have is around power consumption. Should I get a 24 port gigabit managed switch and then a second smaller poe+ switch? I wasn't sure if having POE+ available on all 24 ports would increase power consumption. Also any recommendations on a switch? This one seemed to fit the bill
