don't insert the chip in wrong direction, it blows up in a fraction of a second.
with the new(uninitialized) BIOS the system need to do several (autmatic) restart cycles, let them the time and don't unpower or reset.

Hey, just a little review, i got my CH341A not even needed to do the 3.3v fix, just soldered the bios chip onto the little board that came with it, programmed it with AsProgrammer, (Erase the bios chip, then check it, and program it) and after putting it on the server, it worked like a charm first time ! Thanks a lot for your help and more particulary for the bios file ! Have a great evening !

i got my CH341A not even needed to do the 3.3v fix

the fix is only needed because some chips can be damaged by the 5Volts to the inputs.

Apparently for some electronics engineer it's not really needed because the current is really really low, so the mix of the two is not enough to kill a chip, but maybe i'm wrong, look : (2) How to program a bios chip - CH341A programmer - YouTube

Is there really a utility to update too the bmc ? or it's useless ? If it's useful, do you have the bios file to update it ?
