I have an ICX 6450 that I configured to have VLANs split a /24 into multiple /27's and have the switch handle the routing and IP ACLs.
I wanted to try and set up Private VLANs so that instead of having a bunch of /27's, I could keep a bigger subnet and mix isolated and community VLANs. Unfortunately, the private VLAN feature seems incompatible with routing. I get the following error when trying to set a primary private VLAN when a routing interface is already present:
Anybody know why it is not possible to create a virtual routing interface on a private VLAN? Is this a limitation on the ICX family, or across other vendors as well?
Thanks!
