I'm an IBM man, mostly BladeCenters but have to work on a S6500 system which I don't know.
In order to control/configure the fan/power settings, I have found there is a utility.
I also found a doc that shows how to run the utility (command line only) but it's not clear if I need to use a cable to the chassis or just one of the blades or a vm running on vmware on one of the blades to control the chassis.
Any chance someone here might know and guide me to some information?
UPDATE: As far as I can tell now that I've progressed, any of the blades in the chassis can set/control the chassis power supply choice using ilo.
