Here's a strange one for all of the STH people:

I have a box with a Windows Server 2012 R2 install bare metal and Intel X540 dual network. Both NICs are hooked up.
When I look at the network on the desktop it has the yellow/ orange triangle saying "no internet access"
When I go to a site like STH, yahoo or others, it works no problem
LSI MSM cannot connect to the local host using the local IP

I turned off Windows Firewall and this still happens.

Anyone have an idea to fix?

That yellow triangle is just a service that pings a HA node in Microsoft cloud. if it gets a response. then that server knows it has internet connectivity. somewhere packets are getting dropped.

This. One of the least useful things MS has added to windows.
