Is there a working solution to get jumbo frames working on napp-it inside a ESXI host?

I tried one solution, to change drivers to solaris 11 (the ones in the d/l is 10?), but then the SMB performance is horrible with drops etc (unusable).

I'm currently only getting about 3Gbps (nappit - debian) over a 10Gbe dvSwitch. Debian - debian is getting ~6Gbps.

It's very hard for esxi to pump full bandwidth to 10gbe since it is designed to move many vm's of traffic versus 1 vm. Pinning cores seems to help with RSS (multiple dispatch cores) to tx/rx but good luck getting 1 vm to pump full 10gbe using a VM!

I bet if you had direct-path you could do it though!

Hmm, yeah..I dont need full 10G, but want at least 5-6G. I mean ESXi can push it between my other VM guests so...

I'm getting some DAC cables soon, so will have 2x10G, might do passthrough instead.
