I’m not finding it very easy to find motherboards having 256gb lrdimms in their qvl but my hunch is if 128gb lrdimms work then so too will 256gb lrdimms…it would fall into the “works but not supported” category.

I’m the kind of guy willing to take a flier to see if something works but not at that price point ;-). If I can get one for $150 I’ll try it.

This translates to 3TB per CPU, not every xeon is ready to cope with that amount of RAM
