Firmware for the managed (ib) switches is in the mlnx-os image embedded and will be applied during the mlnx-os update.

Yes

SX6036G = identical to normal SX6036G, but has SX6036G in VPD EEPROM so the gateway license is automatically activated by the OS and does not need to be entered as a license string
