Looking to throw a video card in my HP ML10 (E3-1230 v2), but don't want to put in something that takes too much power for the 350w power supply.

My goal is to be able to play PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS on the low setting on this system.

Minimum Requirements are:
Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB

How does this compare?
- EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING, 4GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) (04G-P4-6253-KR) (AMZ LINK)
- Other suggestions? Anything above a 1050 that doesn't require external power?

I haven't looked at GFX cards in a couple years, I have a 270x sitting around but I'm 99% sure that's too long and draws way too much.

It appears the ~$90 jump to the 1060 SC 6GB yields almost 2x the avg FPS in BF4.

I should also note that my screen size is 2560x1600, so it may be a stretch to get the 1050 TI to perform up to par... I may be just swapping to another mid-tower, and PSU I have sitting to run the 1060 SC ---> Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 6GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC), Only 6.8 Inches Graphics Card 06G-P4-6163-KR: Computers & Accessories

Anyone have experience buying video cards on ebay? I've never done it.
The 1060 SC is more tempting to go to around $200 vs $240 price point :)

I have bought 2 video cards on ebay, but slightly different beasts and both of them well used - one was PNY nVidia Quadro NVS 290 and the other one NVS 295. They are both still working 6 and 4 years respectively in my setups, and I don't really know how old were they when I bought them.

You'll definitely want a 1060 if you're playing at 2560+ and you should try and get the slightly larger one with the dual fans if you can find one at the right place. The single fan versions just can't cool as much and unless you really need a small version to fit into your chassis stick to the bigger ones.

The 1060 is really power efficient and will pull 80-120W so might work with your 350W PSU depending on your other components.

Still might be time for a PSU and chassis upgrade :)

Ah well, it's my 2nd system in my other office not really gaming but looking back I should have realized having 2 systems in 2 offices they need to at-least be somewhat performance-similar so I can do the same things!! I'm on the E5-1620 V3 w/16GB and 980GTX TI, so I'm thinking just a chassis swap + PSU and then 1060 SC 6GB is doable, especially if I can sell my 270x for like $65 recoop a little $$$ toward the new card. I've got a handful of smaller tower chassis, need to keep it small/light for LAN parties, and such... I def. don't want to unplug everything and re-arrange my `bigger` system that's for sure!! Luckily I have all the parts minus the 1060, so cost would only be the actual video card.

I think I'm leaning 1060 SC 6GB now for sure!

Thanks for feedback so far guys.
