Hello, i bought a new lsi 9266-8i with CacheValut and SuperCap battery, i will use as storage controller connected via infiniband (srp protocol) to a vmware vcenter cluster, i never use lsi controllers and i need some advice about the controller configuration.
As storage im using a supermicro chassis 16 (front) + 2 (rear), 18 SSD Samsung sm843t 480GB, motherboard Supermicro X8DTH-iF, 32GB Ram PC3-10600R ECC, 2 x Intel Xeon E5530 cpu, an intel expander RES2SV240 and as raid i would like to setup RAID 10 16 HDD + 2 Hotspare.
So i need to know what's the best setting for such controller to get maximum performances from RAID10 and SSD.
