Greetings!

I have LSI 9240-8i card with latest firmware package 20.13.1-0208
SuperMicro X8DTE-F-O with latest BIOS 2.0c
Planning use as fileserver under FreeBSD 10.1

As for now i've installed FreeBSD 10.1 and it work fine with FreeBSD native driver(ZFS on JBOD).
As i understand 9211 P19 firmware is most stable under FreeBSD 10.1 so i decide to flash my 9240 to 9211, but stuck at the beginning.

I've made FreeDOS USB stick, downloaded P19 firmware from lsi.com and some more utilites (lsiUtil 1.62 etc.)
sas2flsh.exe utility didn't found raid adapter
megarec.exe found adapter, but i afraid to erase flash, because didn't sure that i can flash firmware with sas2flsh.exe

After sas2flsh.exe fail i found some information about lsiUtil which can flash firmware under windows, so i tried windows family:

1) Server 2008, lastest drivers - work fine, but lsiUtil didn't see adapter.
2) Server 2003, tried different drivers, but card didn't work.
3) Windows 7 (different Computer) card didn't work.

Honestly i'm little bit confused and don't know what to do next.

Is that possible to crossflash 9240-8i to 9211 under windows?
if "sas2flsh.exe -listall" didn't show adapter can i use "megarec -cleanflash 0"?

Asus P8P67 lastest BIOS
UEFI shell via USB stick
"sas2flash.ufi" from "Installer_P19_for_UEFI.zip"
As always didn't see controller, but when i try "devices" command i can see LSI 9240-8i in listing.
I start feeling there is something wrong with me : )
or maybe sas2flash didn't supose to see card until i erase BIOS?
sas2flsh avaible only in 9211 download section and ignores BIOS of 9240-8i?
