latest Napp It To Go VM NFS shares not showing?

downloaded and install the latest preconfigured VM http://193.196.159.19/pub/napp-it-2016.4.ova

but non of the NFS shares are showing. The datastore I created for the esxi did work, but cannot see any other shared drives in Windows. Did not happen in previous versions, which was automatic

Is there something new that I need to configure?

I suppose also you meant SMB.
For current OmniOS, you must enable netbios to allow network browsing

In current napp-it, theb setting is in menu Services > SMB > Properties
netbios_enable=true

is there a way to easily disable jumbo frames if it gives issues?

You can disable Jumboframes only on an inactive nic.
With napp-it delete the interface in menu system > network eth where you can then set mtu to 1500. Then re-enable the interface and add an ip or set to dhcp.

For this step, you need an additional management nic (or must use console commands)

I set the SMB properties to netbios_enable=true, but still cannot see the shares in windows?

You need an additional Windows Master Browser functionality that collects and show a client list.
Oracle Solaris or the Solaris Fork OmniOS does not offer this service.
For Macs, you can use Bonjour that allows a client to detect hosts via broadcasts but on Windows this is a server service.
