My Intel S2600CP2J based home lab server is acting up once more. I'm fed up and would like to throw the MB away (it has always been weird/wonky)

It's currently matched with an Intel P4000M case, with compatible Intel air duct, CPU heatsinks, 2x e5-2680 V2 and 16*32GB RAM sticks.

Is there any Supermicro MB you could recommend as a drop-in replacement to salvage the setup?.

Found a Supermicro X9DR7-LN4F that looks promising, would that be a good fit?.

Yes, both are SSI-EEB so the standoffs should line up. The S2600CP is square ILM and the X9DR7 is narrow ILM, so the heatsinks won't work, but passive heatsinks should be easy to find. It is unlikely the air duct will be a perfect fit, but you might be able to make it work. I assume the I/O shield on the case is removable. The CPUs and RAM should work just fine; you might need a BIOS update. It's nice that the X9DR7 has onboard SAS2308, should already be in IT mode.
