So I found a pair of intel p4510, bought wm now Im truying to upgrade formware and add namespaces , to get more drives from the pair.
the model is apprently VO002000KWVVC , which seems to be HPE and they are affected by yet another after x hours the drives dies bug ... fun times hpe!

Can you reflash these with intel firmware ? there is no visible stickers etc on the front of the drives that indicates that these are HPE drives. only the MN number fron nvme list.

very easy if you/buddy has access to hpe server, pop it in that, fire up spp iso, autopatch, be done. literally a few minutes job (and about 30-40 min wait)

I took a closer look and Im on this firmware

NVME Identify Controller:
vid : 0x8086
ssvid : 0x1590
sn : PHLJ2276003G2P0BGN
mn : VO002000KWVVC
fr : 4ICRHPK3

so it seems that these drives are not affected after all ?
