Hello everybody! Sorry for the English, I'm using Google Translate... lol
I don't know if this is the appropriate topic for the post, if this isn't the place. I would like to ask the moderators to move...
Regarding the question, I want to purchase an HPE DL20 Gen9 to use as storage in a low-cost virtualization cluster. As it only has four SFF 2.5 disks, I intend to remove the DVD player and use the connection to install a sata ssd for booting. Has anyone tried this? Using SATA technology, it is theoretically possible but I don't know if HP blocks the hardware so this doesn't work.
