For my future ESXi server i bought:
- 2x Xeon E5-2670 V1
- a 1U chassis CSE-815TQ-600CB
I will buy a X9D?? motherboard and i would like to know which heatsink i should buy ?
From this http://www.supermicro.com/manuals/brochure/x10_HeatSink_Compatibility.pdf documentation, i'm seeing the heat sink SNK-P0057PS. Do you think it's good and compatible ?
In the other side, i build a storage server, i have already (or it's incoming):
- X10SRH-CLN4F
- a Xeon E5-1620 V3
i will try to buy a CSE836 or CSE846 chassis for this server.
From the same documentation, i'm seeing the heatsink SNK-P0048AP4
Do you think heatsink are interchangeable for E5-1620v3 and E5-2670v1 (except from the size of the chassis) ?
