I was playing around with HD Sentinal Pro to check the health of the various SSDs I have installed. I was frustrated with the fact that I didn't have such a nice tool for use on the Hyper-V server nodes in my little lab.
After googling around I found a gem: HD Sentinal Pro actually installs and runs GREAT on Hyper-V server. Even though the GUI drivers don't exist it still works. Just get the install file, RDP to the Hyper-V server node and run the installer from the command tool. It installs and appear to work GREAT (and yeah - the 8x 220GB Sandisk SSDs on that system are showing near perfect with over 1000 days expected life...).
