because there are no used lga4189 board the price is currently higher than 500€
the 8176 ES works on most supermicros, i.e. x11dpi-n(t)(with modd BIOS) avail from 270€
and Mt Olympus dual lga3647 $100usd(UK) (i have one for sale)
and many others...

I have from Rollo him 8468vQYFQ, and he give me so many tips. Now I waiting on motherboard Gigabyte MS33-AR0 bought from Poland server store. Rollo is very kind, this forum should be very happy to have him here.

was first tricky because i bought a supermicro board, and SM removed support of production microcode D0 in BIOS like Tyan does.
fortunal i got a BIOS 1.0 for the X13SEI-F and run the QYFQ and QYFP.
gigabyte MS03,MS33,MS73 run them with at least early BIOS, i have seen a stepping D0 on a MS33-AR0 BIOS F17(latest)
QYFQ and QYFP are same but only QYFQ supports QAT accel.
DDR5-4800 is working fine with both.
the turbo bins are interesting, the QYFQ and QYFP can run at 3.3Ghz with up to 24 cores.

Hi, I created order in poland server store serverparts.pl

Only one thing is bad, motherboard is not in stock, so after order is waiting time 31-40days.
Now I still have about 20 days until delivery it. Ah it is long waiting, because 1 meter from me is a processor from Rollo.

I checked the store now and the price is now a few euros higher than two weeks ago. But if you send the first Offer, not the Order, you might get lucky and get a slightly better price in response to the Offer (offer you can send in last step in Cart).

Plus I ordered a second type of motherboard Asus W790SAGE with W790 for testing cpu from Rollo SPR-SP. In upcoming few days I will be testing if SPR-SP works with W790SAGE etc.

May I ask what was the result of the experiment? Can a Xeon Scalable work with a W790 motherboard?

currently only D0 stepping SPR-SP are working.
do not expect E-stepping QS or production units are working unless otherwise stated
