We have run into some interesting problems with a large number of hosts lately. Due to these problems I am trying to better understand the ESXi install process as well as the VUM process. We have recently upgraded a large number of hosts to 6.0 and since then have experienced a large number of PSOD's caused by the Mellanox VIB's. We do not even have mellanox cards in these hosts. Where did the VIB come from?
Has the install process changed between 5.5 and 6.0?
Did 5.5 lay down all drivers on the iso or just the needed ones?
