This network appliance may not be the latest or greatest, but if you don't need anything fast and want low power, it should do. I hope it goes to someone that could use it instead of a recycling facility. If you do want something higher performance, see this thread.
You get a 1Ghz Celeron M, 1GB DDR2, 2GB CF card, and 5 Intel NICs (4 of which are gigabit). The BIOS and OS is accessible via the serial console, but as you can see there is a VGA header if you'd prefer that. There are also two SATA ports and a power header for a drive. Two of the NICs have bypass capability that can be toggled in the BIOS too. It is passively cooled, so completely silent. Power consumption is low and I tested it with an 18W power brick. It currently has pfSense 2.3.5 installed. I also have the rackmount kit for it (1U).
Anyway, like the title says, free. You pay shipping of course (from Phoenix if it matters).
