Flash Silicom PE340G2QI71 to stock Intel Firmware?

Hey,

Apparently the Silicom PE340G2QI71 uses an OEM Firmware and also has a different PCIe ID, which might be an issue for my use case.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to crossflash the Silicom PE340G2QI71 to Intel stock firmware?

When asking about cross-flashing stock Intel firmware on OEM Intel NICs before I didn't find anyone claiming to have done so successfully. I didn't look into flashing using hardware flashing tools though.

In my case it was a Dell X710-DA2. I ended up sticking to Dell firmware for it as they still stay up to date with Intel's "NVM updates" most of the time. I'd still be interested to know if you are successful in cross-flashing your card. :)
